While the overworld is mostly for exploration and to progress the plot, the fun environment and wacky characters are just simply delightful. From the dump to the local mini mart, each area gives you a glimpse into the lives of this world’s inhabitants. Fennel and his team-mates, Sorrel the cat, Chive the rabbit, and Lavender the panda are all distinct characters and really feel like friends you would have in real life.įor the most part, players will be in control of Fennel, exploring different areas of the town.
